Lana Yeganova has received her PhD in Mathematical Optimization from George Washington University. She is a scientist at National Center for Biotechnology Information. Her research focuses on the use of computational techniques in the context of biomedical text analysis. Lana has a particular interest in designing and applying machine learning methods for various tasks ranging from information extraction to knowledge discovery.
